If you’re unhappy with an earlier hair transplant, it can sometimes be improved. It starts with a careful assessment of what was done before and how much donor hair you have left.

Some people are left with a result that looks unnatural, too thin or patchy, or with visible scarring. This can happen when a hairline is designed too low or too straight, when grafts are placed in an outdated way, or when not enough grafts were used.
A corrective procedure aims to make the result look more natural. What’s possible depends on your previous surgery and how much donor hair remains.
Softening a harsh, straight or badly placed hairline.
Adding grafts to fill thin or patchy areas.
Disguising older-style large grafts with finer ones.
Placing grafts into some scars to make them less visible.
The aim of a corrective procedure is a clear improvement and a more natural look, not perfection. Donor hair used in earlier surgery can’t be replaced, so planning is especially important. We’ll explain what’s realistic before you decide.
